Find out which Provider has the Best Spanish Language Programming

If you know your salsa from your Sabado Gigante (or want to :)), this comparison’s for you. Over the past 10 years, both DIRECTV and DISH have made a concerted effort to expand their Spanish-language programming…and with good reason. Spanish TV is one of the fastest-growing entertainment markets in the U.S. and, with the ratings Univision and Telemundo are pulling down, providers are chomping at the bit to partner with or land an exclusive deal where possible.

And that brings us to the point of the article: between DIRECTV and DISH, who really has the standout Spanish programming? As with most of our plan reviews, it’s all about comparing manzanas to manzanas (apples) . So, let’s distill all the packages down to their basics and find out which actually give you the most bang for your peso (ok ok, that was the last bad pun, promise).
